No, you are not calling an inmate directly. You call our Cheapmaker platform while the inmate is waiting on hold for your return call.
Number mapping is telling the Cheapmaker platform how to route the calls. Each person who wants to use the service, gets a unique landline number to be coupled with that person’s mobile number. So each time an inmate calls this number, the system knows where to route the call. You can add up to 5 numbers, i.e. 5 recipients of inmate calls.
No. It’s a regular landline number. The rate plan is like in all landline numbers of your service provider. If you use an unlimited dial plan, there’s no extra cost at all.
No. We don’t collect any charges for CallMeBack use.
Without "CallMeBack", the inmate pays 8-10 ppm to call a landline and even 40 ppm to call a mobile number from a payphone. With "CallMeBack", the only cost is a landline call.
